Community Involvement at Buster Miles

Community Involvement at Buster Miles

Buster Miles Chevrolet is honored to be able to give back to the Alabama community that we love so much. This year at our Chevrolet dealer in Heflin, we decided to partner with fewer organizations in an endeavor to streamline our efforts and increase our donation amounts, which in turn allows our dollars to make the largest impact in areas with the greatest need. We are blessed to be able to give charitably, which is why we’ve set ambitious goals to support our local communities' basic needs of food, water, clothing and more. We are also proud to continue our partnerships with local school systems and advocate for causes we believe in!

Our Partner Organizations

Our major current partnerships include local organizations that truly make a difference. Both emotionally and monetarily, we support the following organizations generously and couldn't be prouder to be involved with these community causes.

HEARTS of Cleburne

Founded in 2013, (Helping Every Area Resident to Succeed) of Cleburne is an American non-profit charity that provides a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. Their purpose is to strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits within the community. We are a proud sponsor of the Deer Drive Program with HEARTS, as well as Miles on a Mission -- a partnership between Buster Miles, HEARTS and the Department of Human Resources. We are honored to fund this special mission that provides needed assistance and support for the most vulnerable children in Cleburne County. This project includes financial support, as well as the creation of two new HEARTS of Cleburne programs. These programs are:

  • Bags of Love: This program provides bags filled with emergency items like pajamas, blankets, stuffed animals, crayons, flashlights and more to give to children who may have to leave their homes in the middle of the night.
  • HEARTS Pajama Closet: This program enables HEARTS to store pajamas sized newborn to 17 years old for any child in the foster system that may need it.

Cleburne County School System & Athletics

We're proud to be involved with the Cleburne County school system and athletics program. Our involvement includes the Buster Miles "Champion" Scholarship, which is awarded to a graduating senior from both Cleburne County High School AND Ranburne High in the amount of $1,500 for each student. We also have a longstanding partnership with the CCHS Athletics Program.

Charlie's Army

Established in 2021, Charlie’s Army fights to protect infants and young children who do not yet have voices of their own, ensuring that parents’ and children’s best interests are being met by providing the best chance at a healthy, loving environment.
